TD HOA New Members

Thank you to our neighbors who have volunteered for the HOA Board. At this time, it appears there will be no need to investigate a neighborhood management company. Good news for keeping our HOA dues to a minimum. The 2012 TD HOA board is as follows: president, Eileen Kovacs; vice-president, Mike Szafranski; treasurer, David Inman; secretary, Sherry Purvis.

 Neighborhood Roads

All of the necessary paperwork for turning over the remainder of our TD roads has been submitted to the county. We are now waiting for the Wake county people to complete the process. The Board will update everyone when that is accomplished.

Please remember that only licensed vehicles driven by licensed drivers are legal for use on our roads.  Other vehicles are prohibited and may be ticketed by the Sheriff.  Please help keep our neighborhood safe by following the speed limits and laws,  If you see laws being broken and are so inclined, do not hesitate to call the Sheriff's office.

SPEED LIMIT!!

When driving in/out of the neighborhood, please drive slow.   Our new speed limit signs are up and show a speed limit of no more than 25mph. This will ensure the safety for the entire neighborhood.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

 Housekeeping Reminder

We would ask again that dog owners clean up after their pets as they walk the neighborhood. We continue to get concerns from owners that this is not occuring regularly. Everyone appreciates your cooperation with this issue.

Committee chairperson needed

As was discussed in the annual meeting, due to a lack of response from the neighborhood, the social committee as well as the landscaping committee has been disbanded for the present time. We are in need of retaining our pool committee. This committee has been chaired by Lisa Parker for the last several years and she has done a great job keeping our pool a nice place to relax. She is stepping down and we would like to ask a new person to help with this role. Anyone interested is asked to email the Board.

If there is a social event that people would like to have for the neighborhood, please email and let the Board persons know so that we can help support the effort. It would be wonderful to have some new input as to what might be arranged for our families to enjoy together.

Protecting Your Landscaping

Please try to make sure that when you are turning corners in our neighborhood, you do so in a manner that does not cut into that homeowners' property/landscaping. We are all trying to keep our lawns looking good and the owners on corners are having a difficult time with this issue. They are developing muddy tracks, potholes etc. in these corners. You should notice that we are already having some street repairs being done in the neighborhood. Again, your help with this is appreciated.

A notice from a TD homeowner

 Subject: Vandalism in Neighborhood

It looks like vandalism is starting back up again in the neighborhood. It appears people are going up on porches when residents aren't home and stealing items. Please be on the look out for anything suspicious and call Wake County Sheriff.
